Sheng Yuan SY287 Star Wars Minifigures

This is the last week to get the final Bricktober mini modular at Toys'R Us :))

It's a bit disappointing as I was expecting the Toys"R"Us logo on the blue tile is printed but instead, it is only sticker :(. I realised most of TRU store will run out of this set in a few minutes after the store opened but still, i'll take my chances and compete with other AFOL to get this one. ahaha.. love the blue bricks :)

Anyway, for this week review, i manage to get the latest Sheng Yuan's Star Wars minifigures set. unfortunately they are not from from the latest Star Wars The Force Awakens Lego set.

In case you have not noticed, you can build a "space-fighter" using parts collected from the eight boxes. Even so, it does not look like any vehicle from Star Wars (^_^)'. However it is an interesting way to encourage buyers to get the whole complete set of 8.

What you will get from this set with the minifigures. The usual 4x4 baseplate, parts for the space fighter, extra hand for the minifigures and instructions for the mini build.

There's one more Star Wars minifigure set that i havn't review. It's set of 9 from Decool. none of them is from the latest The Force Awakens set but still worth to buy if the price is right. heheh..

Sheng Yuan SY209A - SY209D; Hawkeye, The Riddler, Red Skull and Nick Fury

This is a relatively slow week for me. Amazing why there is still no new set arrived from China. I'm still waiting for Decool's mini modular, Hulkbuster set, Igor and Darkseid big figure, Lele's Jurrasic World minifigure and Dino set and Senbao's accessories kit. Fortunately I still have some old set that yet to be reviewed.

Each box contains three sealed bags and instructions manual.

I'm no OCD but i hate to see the tilted Hydra logo on the round tile >_<.

I really like the colour of Hawkeye's motorcycle as well as the design of Red Skull's mini tank. Nevertheless, I would like to highlight a few areas where the part tend to fall off easily :(. The solution? it's time to use.. the Kragle :).

Assembled minifigures:

Hawkeye in this set is from comic variant. Too bad SY already has this variant in their SY258 (another reissue huh) The Riddler and Nick Fury is new, (i think). While the Red Skull's design is similar to the original Lego figure. Decool already has him in set 0171 but this is the first time for SY.

SY213A-SY213D Ironman with Armoury

This set is one of the available option to display your Lego Ironman. I've seen some people combine a few set of Ironman lab SY305, (which is costly but cool) as a base to keep their growing collection. 

Each set come with 2 pieces of Swivel 1 x 4 Hinge Plate. But you only need one to combine with another set.

They look cool with this formation:

The display case can be connected sideway and on top, but as you can see from the image on the box, this is not how you combine them on top of each other.

You need to remove these top part to make the structure more stable.

..and this is how they suppose to look after you remove the top part of the lower armoury.

I hate it when they repeat a figure from another set. Sheng yuan had issued a similar Mark 45 in SY271, but without armour of course. :(. Rubber Ducky on the other hand is better than the one issued by Duo Le Pin.

Hmm, do you think these armour are necessary for Iron Man? I'm not sure where is the origin for the design. They are same in design but different in colours.

So disappointed with Mark 43's head. I hate that robot face. I wish they make more like Rubber Ducky Mark 42 face. His head is form iron man SDCC 2012 (Bleeding edge).. cool right?

Most of comment that i received on my review about DLP's ironman agree he's Rubber Ducky version. Here's a snapshot of Rubber Ducky from Marvel Avengers Assemble:
