Sheng Yuan SY362B Wolverine Mecha

Continuation from previous post SY362A, here's the 2nd set; Wolverine also needs his own mecha to fight the bad guys. lol

*When using claws fighting bad guys became too mainstream*

Items in the box: Instructions booklet and lego parts in 7 sealed bags.

Printed parts. Yup, that screen display on cockpit window is printed :)

Assembled set. Love the claws!!

Turret gun for the bad guys. not a fair fight XD

Front view of the mecha:

Side view.

Rear view.

I love this pose, with lifted flap.

Upper body and lower body are connected here, using these parts:

This is why I prefer these mecha to have hands:

About the same height with Ant Man's mecha from SY361A:

Last but not least, size comparison with the previous Avenger's mecha from SY360A/B and SY361A/B. I thought all of them about the same size until I put them together like this.

Ooops, I forgot to upload pics of the minifigures XD. Thanks @anonymous :)

Little update thanks to @anonymous: The other minifigure (on the right) is Victor Creed/Sabretooth (starred by Liev Schreiber) in the film xmen origins wolverine.

Sheng Yuan SY362A Ant Man Mecha

I have no skill to make my own MOC of Robots/Transformers/Mecha therefore these type of set is "must have" to me. I wish i could skip this one because i'm more interested with SY362B that i will share with you guys in my next post. But as usual, the purchase in set (SY362A/B) is cheaper than buying separately so I have to have both.

Items in the box: Instructions booklet and lego parts in 8 sealed bags.

This should be metallic grey, i think. but with this result, they should try to make it in normal dark grey colour. not only the color difference looks obvious, but there are also shades of color on the surface of the bricks that are not pleasing to the eyes.

2x4 brick and 2x4 plate

Printed parts.

Assembled set. Looks unbalanced. I think it would look more attractive if it has both hands with gattling gun as add-on.

The weakest point for this build. SY use these circled parts to connect the upper body and lower body.

Front, side and rear view of the mecha:

Parts that can be adjusted.

Assembled minifigures.

Both had print on the side of the leg:

Well before you jump off your seat to purchase this set, you might want to remind yourself that most parts in this build do not stick well like Lego. most of them kept falling apart :(. They look attractive in pictures but may need a little effort to fix the parts that fall off after a few pose.

Anyway, other mechas that you might be interested in

Sheng Yuan SY361B Captain America Mecha Hulkbuster

The last set of 4 (from SY360 and SY361) - mecha for Captain America.

Items in the box: Instructions booklet, sticker sheet and lego parts in 8 sealed bags.

Assembled set (with stickers applied):

Base for the mecha, rotating computer console and Capt A holographic screens.

Minifigures in this set: Captain America and Ultron Sentry Officer. They have been issued previously in set SY271 and SY275.

Assembled mecha:

Captain A in standing position.

Side view of the body (without right arm):

Parts of the body where ball-joint has been used.

Just like other mecha from SY360, this build also has articulated flaps.

I think I've set it up properly. This is one of the flaw that need modification.

The assembled set:

Rotating computer console with Capt A's holographic panel.

Parts where the stickers have been applied.

Phew, and here's all the assembled mecha from SY360 and SY361. I personally love Thor (because of the hammer) and Bruce Banner (because of the color). About the quality of the plastic.. I strongly advised you to GLUE some parts that easily fall off. I myself have put glue on more than 15 parts (for each mecha) and the ball-joint also easily detached from the socket :(. I do not deny that there were a few times I've run out of patience when some parts have been uprooted several times before I glue it (^_^)'

If you want to have a look at individual post about the other 3, you may view their pics here: SY360A Ironman, SY360B Thor and SY361A Bruce Banner.

[update: March 1, 2016]
I'm sooo grateful to receive this update from one of my friend (fellow collector - you know who you are ;) )who did not want his name revealed here. guess what? LDD file of Ant-man's and Wloverine's mech! yeay!! generally it is a slight modification to make the build more solid and stable. I already got his permission to share it with you guys. We should really thankful to him because he had taken the trouble to "convert" the instructions of both of these mech into LDD. have fun guys!!!

some pics of upgraded build taken by him:

Actually, he emailed me these instructions and images since last year but I overlooked his email (-_-)"". i feel so guilty about it. *sorry*.
