LEGO 5004928 Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman Key Chain

Another LEGO Batman movie polybag from recent promotion (LCS & GSC) in Malaysia. I didn't get it from purchase of RM100 Lego set but i exchanged it with my extra #30607 polybag (Disco Batman & Tears of Batman). Exchange of two LEGO Batman figure with a keychain.. not fair at all but most LCS outlets in Malaysia have already run out of stock.. so i have no choice. Malaysian (including me) really loves free stuff LEGO. hehe

It's only 1 piece so nothing to assemble here :)

I'll add this variant to my collection as it is. yeah.. with the metal chain attached to the head. If you would like to remove the keychain, just google "how to remove keychain from lego figure" and you'll get tons of diy/tips. (hint: it'll involve heat) but i'm not going to torture mine with it.. hehe.. wait till i get extra figure to do the experiment.

Anyway, I'm more excited with LEGO 5004929 Batman Battle Pod that i managed to get one today. I'll share with you guys in next post :)

Decool 7115 - 338Pcs LEGO Batpod

I believe most of you guys already have this set as early as May '16. I got mine in June at RM60 (USD15) without box. The box art should look like this:

It's 100% imitation of LEGO #5004590. I noticed the original set will have 311pcs but Decool has 338pcs for this set. I didnt bother to count the parts for as long as the final form looks the same as per the original.

The original set as per the above picture is limited to 750 copies worldwide. It's limited and exclusive giveaway by LEGO to winners of LEGO VIP member sweepstakes contest. If anyone is interested with them, please expect the price on ebay to be around $1,000 to $2,000 (^_^)". Those listed at $200 have been sourced from LEGO parts and come without original box and instructions. still a good deal.. but if you don't mind getting the imitation, it will only cost you USD16 on aliexpress.

Parts in sealed bags with instructions booklet. I think my kids assembled the rim with the tyre. They didn't come like those.. i'm not sure.

This set is definitely a keeper. I'm not paying $200 just for 331pcs LEGO parts that some seller help to source. I suspect the most expensive part is the tyre (which i can get from LEGO 76023 The Tumbler).

To be honest i'm very afraid to log in this google and blog account.. i can't imagine how many unanswered email and comments after a month since my last log in >_<.

My excuse this time? My OnePlus screen shattered to million pieces and my replacement phone don't have LTE (lol). Oh wait, there's more.  I was laptopless for a few weeks. In the same month, i sent my macbook to Apple for repair because.. guess what? screen related problem too. :(. On top of that, they also make a diagnosis that the laptop battery need to be replaced :(. cost for all the repair? RM3,169 (about $782). That amount to repair 3 years old laptop is just insane. i could buy a new laptop with that price.. not macbook of course.

Luckily i bought AppleCare+ 3 years ago meaning the laptop is still under warranty, so the repair is FOC! 

They made a mistake with the warranty period because i send the unit just a few days before the warranty end but they come out with the diagnosis one day after the warranty end. Phew... $700 repairs FOC. I purchased the extended warranty for about $150. It was definitely worth it. I just hope this machine can last another 3 years.. aha.. Confession time: I'm a cheapskate ;p

Hey, I still have not made any paragraph related to LEGO >_<.. I miss typing and babbling in this blog. 

Before i upload tons of SY600 LEGO Deadpool pictures, i would like to ask you.. is this picture real? I'm going to upload post about SY600 LEGO Deadpool in my next post. really excited with this upcoming set... LEGO Batpod!

wait.. what? Seriously LEGO #5004590 Batpod? Only 1,000 set made worldwide. lol.. this set cost $192 (RM780) sourced from loose parts and the original with box cost at least $1,600 (RM6,486).

It is real. found this link on aliexpress. 

$23.85 for 338++ pieces set is kinda expensive to me. I expect the price will not exceed $20 when more seller have it. but still, $23.85 vs $192 set.. The imitation cost 12% of original set. (again with the numbers huh) you can do many other things with that excess of money.. (^_^)'. Now more people will be able to buy and play with this set.

Decool 7113 The Batboat Harbor Pursuit

This is 100% imitation of  LEGO #76034 Batboat Harbor Pursuit. I got this at RM40 (USD9.50) from local shop. If you are interested in this set, you may get it on Aliexpress but a bit pricey IMHO. Here's one at $18.27 with free shipping. But if you add just a bit more $$$ (roughly $12), you can get the original LEGO set! This set is still new (released in Jun 2015 at $29.99) therefore it is not a very difficult set to get for the time being.

There's a manual booklet, 6 sealed bags of LEGO parts and.. hey, a sticker sheet? There's no doubt LEGO use stickers for most of their set but SY usually will do some modifications/adjustment a.k.a upgrade on these imitation set. In other Decool's LEGO sets that I have ever reviewed before, they will print the pattern directly on the LEGO parts (for most of them)

It's 100% copy of original stuff so yes, both Batpods/Boatpods can be launched using hidden lever.

Yeay.. another addition to my collection of Bat-Vehicles but hey Decool. I'm still waiting for the batpod :(. Or at least issue the old (2006-2007) hard-to-find LEGO batman set like 7780 The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc, 7781 The Batmobile: Two-Face's Escape and 7786 The Batcopter: The Chase for the Scarecrow. Oh, please don't skip the minifigures too :p

Decool 7112 The Batwing

I do not believe this is my first post for this year. haha. Happy new year guys!  Time passes so fast :(. It's already in the third week of January and here's my first post for 2016 (^_^)". I have some knock-off LEGO minifigure sets (that are no longer up to date) for review. It's very unfortunate because I had taken pictures  of them to share with you guys but due to time constraints (200% because of work stuff), those pictures just stranded in my laptop.

However, I am sure all of you have something to look forward to (or more precisely, an updated list of items to be purchased this year haha). I myself eyeing for Ghostbuster HQ (Firehouse Headquarters 75827), Brick Bank 10251, mighty micros Marvel super heroes (you know I'm only interested with the minifigures haha), and all DC and Marvel 2016 Super Heroes set. Star Wars The Force Awaken LEGO set? Hmm, i'll pass that. I will buy Lepin's instead :P

My want-to-buy list is a nightmare. I still have a lot of 2015 Lego set to complete but now I am planning to buy 2016 set. uh, not to mention my other collection that I try to keep up such as 2016 6" Star Wars Black Series figure and Tomica :(. They are not cheap considering the weakening Malaysia Ringgit  (RM) day by day. my wallet is bleeding. I think I should attend some sort of money management courses (^_^)"..

Anyway, here's my quick post for today. I've decided to less talk. more pics instead. This imitation by Decool is the exact copy of Lego #7782 The Batwing: The Joker's Aerial Assault.

The original Lego set was released in 2006, with 517 parts. Obviously the difference in the number of pieces is for the helicopter. The current price for this set is between $ 250 and $ 550. phew.

As you can see, there's 3 minifigures in this orignal set by LEGO; grey-suited Batman, The Joker and henchman minifigures.. but we won't get henchman from Decool's :(

Cover image of the manual booklet. Look at the rear page! There's catalogue of past/future Decool release! Wow.. 7111 is for the tumbler. cannot wait to have that :).

Joker and Batman from this set:

Unfortunately Decool give us different variant of Joker (Joker with Lime Vest) from newer sets released in 2012-2015.  As for Batman, they got the right torso but different face/cowl from original LEGO figure.

Decool 7105 Tumbler (imitation of #7888 The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise), Decool 7112 Batwing (imitation of #7782 The Batwing: The Joker's Aerial Assault) and Decool 7108 Bat-Tank (imitation of Lego #7787 The Bat-Tank: The Riddler and Bane's Hideout) in one picture :). I need to fork out at least $500 if i want to build all these with original LEGO parts.

I know some of you have a way to contact Decool to propose a set of interest to be produced. I hope you can get them to produce this :P.

No, i'm not kidding. please persuade them to issue this batpod. Only 750 units were produced  and the price on ebay will make your eyes pop out.

Even sourcing the parts separately will make its cost $ 399.99? This is outrageous.
