Lele 79151 Jurassic World T-Rex

Continuation from my post here about the imitation/knock off Indominus rex (Lele 79151), we will have a look at his rival, T-Rex in this post.

As you can see from the packaging, the set number is same with Indominus Rex - 79151. That's why they are listed in pair on Aliexpress.

The packaging is same with Indomius Rex:

If you are interested to get the original dinosaur by Lego, it's from #75918, priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / 79.99€ / RM399.90.

Just admit it. Most of us interested with this set just to have the T-rex (^_^)'. I got this Lele 79151 at roughly USD10. Loose T-rex being sold on Bricklink at USD46 (at least!)

This set is pre-assembled, so there is no manual included.

My 2 little kiddos more than happy to dismantle this guy.

I forgot to take off the jaw from his head but every part looks 100% same with Lego.

Last but not least, the one seated gyrosphere.

Simon Masrani. Lele issued this guy previously in their set of 8 #79058

Meh, I do realize Lele's printing is not the best but i wish they didn't repeat the figure.

Jurassic World Lele 79151 Indominus Rex

Hi guys! I will join the que to get the last set Nanoblok at McDonald shortly. This week they will release 'Limited Edition' Mcdonald's Restautant. Gosh, i just remember, i still have lots of email and comments that i haven't replied.. sorry!

Yup, I'm going to compete with scalpers because of that special term "Limited Edition" McDonald use to label the toys. Anyway, I'm not a fan of Nanoblock. Maybe I just like the crowd. Ha-ha

Okay, straight to the point. I will make a quick review about this set that I bought today. It's knock off version of Indominus Rex!

The original Lego Indominus Rex comes only from Lego set#75919. These picture is not mine. this set is expensive. RM569.00 retail (USD129.99) (-_-)'. [Picture from Google].

Images of the box:

This set is pre-assembled, so there is no manual included .. Simply remove the packaging and this is how they look:

As you can see, Lele include Gray inside the gyrosphere with this hybrid but in original Lego set, Zach is the only one riding it.

Just for fun, I decided to do minor operation on this guy :D

Hmm,it has been proven 100% the same with original Lego :). Look at these parts registered in Bricklink for this hybrid

You won't believe how much this hybrid is listed in bricklink.

The cheapest is USD60 and the most expensive is USD85! each!

Last but not least, the one seated gyrosphere.

Again, it has been proved that the design is 100% similar to Lego. Please refer to the print-screen of instructions to assemble gyro sphere taken from the manual below:

Ooops, i almost forgot about the minifigure. Gray minifigure from this set is the same as Gray issued in Lele's Jurassic World minifigure set #79058. [I just noticed i havn't post my review about that set. (-_-)'. i will update you guys later on the link]

The alternate face on the minifigure also is 100% same with the original Lego figure :D.

However.... Please please and please do not think that this imitation is anywhere near the original. I let my kids play with the dinosaur after i'm done with the pictures.

To my surprise, after a few minutes they play with the dino ,the arms become so loose that even with only a slight movement will make both of the arms fall :(. Cannot complain much, that's why the price is 1/6th of the price for original lego parts.
