Sheng Yuan SY206A - SY206D Hobbit mini set

I would like to be honest with you guys. I got this set not for the minifigures, but JUST for the wolf =p

The parts are properly sealed in plastic packaging. Even the cape is wrapped with thick card.

Parts supplied are for miniature of small mountain/rock - using dark/light bluish grey slope bricks and green plate.

The minifigures - Printing on both front and back of the torso is very neat. However as expected from Sheng Yuan, their minifigures don't come with dual sided faces =(

There's no skeleton horse in any of Lego LOTR or Hobbit set but i think they will go well with any LOTR/Hobbit/Castle set. I really love that wolf. With it's opening and closing mouth it can chomp down some minifigure's arm lol.

Sheng Yuan SY 251 Lego Lord of The Ring

If i'm not mistaken, this is the first time Sheng Yuan release minifigures set from LOTR/Hobbit theme. 

LOTR character for this set: 2 Lego Horses (black and brown), Lego Pippin, Lego Boromir, Lego Moria Orc, Lego Legolas, Lego Gandalf and Lego Mordor Orc with helmet. 

For previous/other issue of Hobbit/LOTR figure, i only have those released by Lele. I think we have too many Gandalf figure now.

What's included in each box. Hm, no game/trading card like the usual.

Sheng Yuan's horse always come unassemble. Its not that hard to assemble them but i think its VERY hard to diamantle it.

Uh uh... i just realize i don't have loose Lego Mordor Orc minifigure in my collection.. but i can guess that SY figure will look very much like Lego figure except the head is not dual sided faces. =)

Finally i manage to sort all my hobbit from 2012 till 2014 in display case.. phew. took me about 2 hours to check them with bricklink.. yeah, i'll be honest with you guys.. i did watch hobbit few times but i still can't remember all their name. lol. all about the same size and i'm not sure they are from hobbit or lord of the ring set. so bricklink is my source. =)

I really love 2014 hobbit set. One of the reason is because lego only make one variant of Thorin Oakenshield (in lake-town outfit) vs to previous set - thorin in chain mail. Imagine if lego make variant of other hobbit member... phew.. that's about 14 hobbit figure!

I cannot wait to have this year exclusive figure Good Morning Bilbo Baggins. 

to welcome this figure in my collection, i already reserved a spot in my case. Dedicated case just for bilbo baggins variant =)
