Sheng Yuan SY360B Thor Mecha Hulkbuster

SY360B that i'm going to review in this post come after a week I made a review about SY360A. Who would have thought Thor also need a mecha to fight the bad guys lol.

Items in the box: Instructions booklet, sticker sheet and lego parts in 8 sealed bags.

Assembled set (with stickers applied):

Base for the mecha, rotating computer console and holographic screens.

Minifigures in this set: Thor and Ultron Prime. They have been issued previously in set SY271 and SY275.

Assembled mecha:

One of the significant difference compared to SY360A is the minifigure fit in the mecha while in standing position.

Side view of the body (without right arm):

Parts of the body where ball-joint has been used. Very similar to the mecha from SY360A.

Articulated flaps? must have for flying poses >_<

This is the secret of how the mecha can hold Thor's Mjolnir without dropping it.

Same with SY360A, this part is very fragile.

Decool 0211 - 0216 Super Heroes;

I have yet to make a review on this set but it looks so familiar. not sure if i keep this post as draft for too long or I have been confused with the same figure that may have been issued by other brands. Hmm.. Wonder Woman has been released by SY in SY266, Green arrow in SY259 (with hood on), Bizarro in SY187, Martian Manhunter in SY266 and by Decool in Decool 0131 (both of different variant), and Bane issued by Bozhi in set 98044 (i don't have it).

Decool always include a catalog in their set. For the latest catalog, you may refer one from set 0217 - 0222.

Each figure comes with a transparent super jumper:

Starting with Supergirl from set 0199 - 0204, Decool issue female torso with shaped waist.

It is very unlikely I would have Bizarro from SDCC 2012 Exclusive :(. As I recall, Bizarro should have reversed "S" for the logo. That's why i prefer Bizarro from SY187. The "S" logo is not reversed in this set too but the S logo does not look as bold as this.

Here's front and rear view of Bizarro issued by Decool in this set. No original figure for comparison.

Last but not least, Bane. This is the most interesting figure in this set.

Printing on the torso and the head is 100% same with original Lego figure. However the additional mask and tan coat as accessories made this figure is better than the original >_<. It's a must have add-on!

Sheng Yuan SY360A Iron Man Mecha Hulkbuster

I bought SY360A together with SY360B. Today I will make a review of SY360A and review about SY360B will be made later in the next post. Here is a size comparison of box for SY360A, SY360B and standard box size of the usual knock-off minifigure. Both SY360A and SY360B has the same box size that is 24cm(L) x 5cm(W) x 17cm(H). The difference is only in the image orientation for the box cover art. SY360A have a picture in landscape while SY360B have picture in portrait.

Items in the box: Instructions booklet, sticker sheet and lego parts in 8 sealed bags.

Long story short, here's the assembled set (with stickers applied):

Base for the hulkbuster mecha, rotating computer console and holographic screens.

Minifigures in this set: Mark 45 Iron Man and Ultimate Ultron. They have been issued previously in set SY271 and SY276.

Thanks to those joint, this build is fully articulated and highly poseable. It's fun and addictive at the same time but i can only come up with this pose at the moment, lol.
