I cannot wait for Dargo's latest set of Iron Man, so i only include Sheng Yuan's SY262 (link) to update the list. (My previous Iron Man list (link) is outdated! Last update: on December 20th, 2014). Sorry guys!!!
A little bit discussions about some of the variants:
War Machine
The latest War Machine look alike figure in SY262 has inverted "100" mark printed on the armor.
I believe it should be "001". but Mark 1 should look like this:

War Machine from SY262 isn't variant. It's War Machine Mk1 (not Iron Man Mk1). It's developed from Iron Man Mk2 suit in Movie Iron Man2.
But War Machine Mk2 from Lego/SY/Decool is another suit's developed from Mk22 Hot Rod. and repaint to Iron Patriot in Movie Iron Man 3. (and Repaint back to War Machine again in Avenger2 Age of Ultron) Repaint War Machine

By the way, I believe the figure you're calling the Mark 3 is actually supposed to be the mark 49/50 (They're basically identical) from the Avengers Assemble animated series, as illustrated by the rest of SY161 - hence the bright red coloration. I don't understand why there isn't a proper Mark 3, as the design is identical to the Mark 2, but in crimson and gold, with the rivets removed. Lets hope the next iron man wave are all good new designs (copied from CrayonBricks, I expect) with no duplicates.

DeleteNo, there is so much misinformation I want to try and clarify a few things.
DeleteThere are at least 3 different Iron Man universes being discussed here:
1) MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) which I think everyone will agree that all of the "Mark" variants are based off of -- at least LEGO is based off of MCU (except for the SSDC one) and the other recent Mark versions are also based off of MCU (e.g. Hot Rod, Python, etc.)
2) There is the comic version of Iron Man which does not have a "Mark" designation -- this, again, an invention of MCU.
3) The reference above is from Avengers Assemble (which I don't really watch) but as it continue the "Mark" designation, we can assume that it is influenced by MCU.
At the end of Iron Man 3, the last "Mark" designation was the Mark 42. Even by Age of Ultron the latest is the Mark 45.
Therefore, there is no way that the figure we are talking about is the Mark 49 or Mark 50. It looks like the Mark 3 and is in all likelihood a Mark 3 variant (the MCU Iron Man Mark 3 does look like this)
As I said before the whole "Mark" designation only exists in MCU. It doesn't even exist in the comics. Therefore, since the MCU created the "Mark" designation, they should be the official source for Mark related suits -- and the last official one is the Mark 45 which appears in Age of Ultron.

Btw, any reason why you exclude the green lantern iron man? Perhaps include them together with the Elephant brand (JX1001 & JX1002) Iron Man?

The weapon pack is RMB5 (MYR2.9) per box. Below 10 boxes is not worth it IMO coz I have to factor in another RM10 poslaju to Ipoh if I use his service.
Here's his breakdown for say 10 boxes:
50 RMB (10 x 5 RMB per box) + 10 RMB (courier to warehouse) + 10 RMB (agent fee, delivery to Msia) = 70 RMB (about 41 ringgit)
41 ringgit + 10 ringgit (poslaju to ipoh) = about 51 ringgit total.
Works out to about RM5 per box. Then again, each gun is USD1 at minifig.cat online shop. We are getting a dozen items in a box.
That's a brief calculation breakdown if no sudden adjustments in shipping fees. Final confirmed fee may be more.

DeleteOnly the Lego version is the Mark 44, the Decool one is based on the suit from the Lego Marvel video games, which as far as I know doesn't have a Mark #. LELE is just a repaint of their Igor, and this could just be a coincidence but the concept art of the Igor suit shows that it was originally red and gold.

So counting that we have about 30 released counting in the 43, 45, 1616 and Bleeding Edge and also considering the Lantern one as Piston, we should have about 26 of the 45 released so far. I noticed Dargo has about 6 new armors and assuming Duo Le Pin has 8 new ones, we will reach a count of 40 out of 45. Am I right?

ReplyDeleteHey guys , thinking about Decool minifigs hulkbuster , i would ask to anyone owns it, how the body is assembled ( glue or screw ) and if is possibly cut off head. because looking around i 've found a custom versions that has respectively openable helmet only, or helmet and body, and would like understand how replicate it. Or if someone knows an already made version
ReplyDeleteI just bought the decool hulkbuster. The only thing that needs assembling is the arms. There are 2 blue pegs that go into the head/body/leg (1 main body piece) and then it connects to the shoulder joint and the 2 fan/shoulder piece goes on top of that and then the arm attaches to it. The shoulder just rotates around and the shoulder piece acts like an elbow which moves the arm up and down. My only problem was I got one with a loose piece inside the main body which rattles when shaken. Kind of irritating but I'm not going to be playing or shaking the minifigure.
