Decool 0205 - 0210 Super Heroes

I believe everybody's busy with hundreds of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Episode VII) toys and other items related and I'm here still writing about AOU (Avengers 2: Age of Ultron) minifigures lol.

There is a correction to the number of AOU characters that have been issued by Decool until now. In this post, I did mention that to date, Decool has issued 12 AOU decool minifigure but with the addition of 5 AOU minifigure from this set, the total is 17.

I do not know why Winter Soldier has been included in this set while the other figures in this set are AOU minifigures. There is still AOU character that has not been produced by Decool (Hydra Henchman for example) but there is no label on the box indicates that this set (0205-0210) is for AOU theme so they can include whatever characters they want in the usual set of 6 they issued.

0210 - Winter Soldier

I was a little disappointed with the quality of Winter Soldier produced by Decool in this set. Here's a close-up photo that show printing on the arm and leg. You can see clearly how bad the printing is. perhaps we have to rely on Sheng Yuan for this figure. FYI, Decool has issued Winter Soldier in the past year (Decool 0138), but it is a different variant. 

I might complain too much but I believe SY can do better :)

Dargo No.852 Avengers Age Of Ultron Minifigures Set

Finally I was able to buy this set. phew .. I know I'm a bit behind compared to other people who have been getting this set months ago. Dargo is not my fav because the quality is below par but after a few times of this set "sold-out" in the market, I finally managed to get one. let's look at why people buy this set.

The verdict? Quality of plastics used is still low. for example, the connection between the torso and the leg is very loose. if you stick their feet on the baseplate and hold the body to lift them, the body will be uprooted. 

As well as the head. almost all of them (except Quicksilver) has a loose head :(. The accuracy of printing is also low in these minifigures. Have a look at the back of Vision's head for example. Another example is pattern behind Ultron's head looks almost the same as the original but more distorted.

As a conclusion, Dargo still using low-quality plastic. Not only looks cheap, but  these loose parts will make people think twice to get this set. I think many people buying this set just because Dargo is the earliest to offer this AOU set and you can get all Ultron variant in this single set. Now that Sheng Yuan has the same AOU set to offer, I think Dargo will have trouble competing. Luckily i also bought Sheng Yuan SY275 & SY276 AOU for review. Read about them in my next post :)
