Lele 79151 Jurassic World T-Rex

Continuation from my post here about the imitation/knock off Indominus rex (Lele 79151), we will have a look at his rival, T-Rex in this post.




As you can see from the packaging, the set number is same with Indominus Rex - 79151. That's why they are listed in pair on Aliexpress.

If you are interested to get the original dinosaur by Lego, it's from #75918, priced at £59.99 / $69.99 / 79.99€ / RM399.90. 


Just admit it. Most of us interested with this set just to have the T-rex (^_^)'. I got this Lele 79151 at roughly USD10. Loose T-rex being sold on Bricklink at USD46 (at least!)

This set is pre-assembled, so there is no manual included.



My 2 little kiddos more than happy to dismantle this guy. 



I forgot to take off the jaw from his head but every part looks 100% same with Lego. 



Last but not least, the one seated gyrosphere.




Simon Masrani. Lele issued this guy previously in their set of 8 #79058. 


Meh, I do realize Lele's printing is not the best but i wish they didn't repeat the figure.

    When dou you review the Shen Yuan Avengers tower?

    Decent printing. Lele is good, I guess they are my second favourite after SY.
    Any glue this time?

      Ahaha.. You remember I love to use glue with all these knock offs. But with these dinos, I need to have movable arm/leg/tail so nope.. No glue this time. For temporary solution, I only wrap the connector with thin sellotape layer to make it thicker hence it become tighter.. But after a few twist I need to reapply new layer of tape ahaha

    I ordered my in Oct and got both Dino's for the price of 12.99 US dollars the tails are kinda floppy but they are the highlight of my Dino collection.

      Usd12.99 for both is really cheap :)). Hey have you tried changing the technic pin connecting those parts? I wonder if we use original Lego pin will solve the problem

    The gyro sphere is cool. I am sure we could use it for Oblivion ship moc.

      Ah yes.. I got two of them from both dino but now all badly scracthed. My kids throw them down the stairs. :(.it would hurt more if its original Lego ahaha

      I am waiting for bootleg brands to use newer guns. SY has been using the same old weapons for a long time. I've got tons of them already. I hope the next military set from SY use newer weapons.

    Haven't tried that with the tail the arm on the right won't stay on now it keeps falling off so I guess buyer beware
