Sheng Yuan SY279; Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wolverine, Hulk, Thor, Ironman, Captain America

I expect this set will not be sold well as usual. It is a re-work of the earlier figure SY180 (roughly 2 years ago).

if I see this set are sold separately, I would choose a particular figure only. Ironman, definitely. and maybe Captain and Batman. That's all

 They use newer plate with rotating part  as baseplate.

To cut a long story short, here's the assembled figures:

Each come with weapon but i hate it when they pair each figure with unnecessary weapon/accessories for example, hulk with rifle. After all, I've had a lot of that equipment. So I just put them aside.

Last but not least let's have detail look on the minifigure:

One thing I noticed, all the figures come with dual sided faces except Captain. 

The only figure that interest me is the Ironman. He's Mark 19 - Tiger, designed by Crayonboi.

There should be red line on the mask but for some reason Sheng Yuan issue this figure with standard gold face cover. maybe they still have lot of this part in their storage lol.

I also noticed Hulk wear new pants in the AOU, with red  and "A" logo. Superman has severe print of the belt (maybe the worst figure in this set) and Batman.. hmm. I wish to see newer cowl for batman (with open chin and shorter ears) but maybe my expectations are too high. They still use the old cowl :(

The return of Decool?

Cannot wait to see if they already improve/fix their print issue.

The catalogue, yeay! Looks like we'll be getting Age of Ultron minifigures in set number 0205 onwards.

For comparison, I will have the original Lego figure on the right in every picture: 

1. Lego Superman (comic variant). I'm too lazy to compare the exact Lego figure that Decool imitate. I just grab the easiest from my collection so the alternate face in this comparison picture is different. I will explain about other variant later.

Misaligned print of the belt on rear torso is noticeable. same problem with their previous set 0192-0197 (have a look at Bane)

I just notice this. Decool hasn't issue comic variant of Superman before. Their Superman from set number 0108 is from Man of Steel variant.

Here's a print screen of available variant of Lego Superman from Bricklink.

As you can see from the list, Decool's figure is a copy of Superman from Lego 76040 (with red eyes) but mine is from Lego 6862/76028. The cape that comes with the latest Lego Superman figure (76040/76028) is made of new - spongy soft material. 

I hope i don't make it more confused. Torso and leg assembly for comic variant Superman (bright blue suit) are same for figure made in 2011/2012 (from set 6862) and the latest 76040 and 76028 made in 2015. The only difference are the alternate face and material for the cape.

2. Lego Supergirl. Same with Superman, the cape should made of spongy soft knit but it doesn't matter in picture. If you notice, Decool miss to colour the collar /neck line with skin colour. 

Uh uh, one more thing. This is important. have you notice it? Look at her waist. Instead of using shade on the torso to colour the waist part, Decool modified the torso (purposely make a dent at both side of the torso) to make her having an "actual" waist. cool or weird? lol

but they have the same side print on the leg.. 

3. Lego Cyborg. Printing on the leg is horrible.. but if you're collecting bootleg figure, this will be great addition to comic variant made by SY SY258.

4. Lego Brainiac. 

5. Lego Batzarro. The yellow belt colour is stronger than the original Lego but better than Sheng Yuan's from SY266. At least this one has dual sided faces.

6. Lego Hawkman. He comes with complete accessories, exactly like Lego.

Colour of the helmet is different. I cannot capture the exact color but most gold colour on Lego figure looks yellow on Decool. The wing however, looks more awesome on Decool. 

Misaligned color and line on the leg is noticeable.

Last but not least, who's interested with this Super Jumper?

You can get 2 in this set from Superman and Supergirl.

I heard they could potentially damage the back of the minifigures’ legs but i don't mind since the price for one of these figures is only 1/15 of the original Lego. So i just let my son play to their heart's content. ahaha =). 

Dargo No.844A- 844H Super Heroes

Guys, sorry for the long pause. The usual place where i always get these bootlegs lego told me that new stuff will arrived real slow till April. It is a bit off topic but the reason behind this is because most reseller in Malaysia hold/slowing down bulk import from China because Malaysian government will implement new tax system - Goods and Service Tax (GST) to replace our current tax system. Yeayyy~~~ or nayy?? ahaha.. I hope it is for a better future (wow.. so ambitious =p)

I know i keep saying please stay away from certain brands but i keep buying 'em. I don't know how to explain it. I guess it is the "buy now regret later" kind of thing. 

Please correct me if i'm wrong but I think this is the 4th set released by Dargo. The first one is the common superheroes figure (Capt, Superman, Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, Spiderman and Batman - I don't have these), the 2nd one is Ghost Rider, Snake Eyes, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Bane, Storm Shadow, Silver Sufer, Martian Manhunter (link), the 3rd one is the transparent version of their first set minifigures (link) and now ... these!

I don't know if the character do have alternate name but characters in this set are: Superman (black suit), Lash Line (Whiplash), Laser Eye (Cyclops), Wishbone, Green Lantern, Winter Soldier, The Punisher, and Hercules (Power Man?)

Winter Soldier. I personally prefer the one by Decool (link) and Lego version. But i don't have the polybag yet! It's too expensive!

Wishbone Crossbones (thanks @Anon.). I know nothing about this guy.. but i bet he has a different name. The crossing bone pattern on the torso is not centre and really bothering me.

Hercules. Could this be Power Man? I have one from "Doll" compared to Lego here

The Punisher. This is a total failure, such cape is just for super heroes with actual super power. I prefer Decool version much better. (link)

Black suit Superman. Isn't that "T" for Tor-An?

Okay, I think that's all for now. If you guys have question about quality of the plastic... just refer to picture below:

I let my kids play with the figure after i took a picture of them.. and that happened. The arm is super loose and the plastic is really bad. The hand is too loose for the arm.. it is really bad as if the gravity alone is enough to make the hand dropped from the arm. =(
