JLB The Simpsons 3D9901 - 3D9906

I can't believe i still have this in my draft. I should published this post around the same time i review Sheng Yuan's The Simpsons SY256

In this set, JLB imitate Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Maggie and Ned Flanders.

What they get (the accessories):

Let's compare them with original Lego figure. I will have JLB figure on left side, original Lego of The Simpsons from Collectible Minifigures in the middle and original Lego of The Simpsons from 71006 The Simpsons House on the right side.

From the comparison, we can see that JLB's Homer, Ned Flanders and Lisa are direct imitation from Lego CMF whilst Marge, Bart and Maggie are imitation from The Simpsons House minifigures. 

Which one should you get? SY or JLB?

JLB's quality and plastic are bad. I'm very sure of that. But i prefer Maggie from JLB than the one from SY. JLB's Bart also has stripe on its leg and printed slingshot at his back. Lisa is same from both JLB and SY. Marge, Homer and Ned Flanders by JLB and SY are from different sets - CMF and The Simpsons House, respectively. But SY's Simpsons' set has extra figure i.e. Nelson and Milhouse. Hmm..

Sheng Yuan SY 251 Lego Lord of The Ring

If i'm not mistaken, this is the first time Sheng Yuan release minifigures set from LOTR/Hobbit theme. 

LOTR character for this set: 2 Lego Horses (black and brown), Lego Pippin, Lego Boromir, Lego Moria Orc, Lego Legolas, Lego Gandalf and Lego Mordor Orc with helmet. 

For previous/other issue of Hobbit/LOTR figure, i only have those released by Lele. I think we have too many Gandalf figure now.

What's included in each box. Hm, no game/trading card like the usual.

Sheng Yuan's horse always come unassemble. Its not that hard to assemble them but i think its VERY hard to diamantle it.

Comparison with original Lego figures on right. Please note the usual SY style of 'short-leg' assembly.

Uh uh... i just realize i don't have loose Lego Mordor Orc minifigure in my collection.. but i can guess that SY figure will look very much like Lego figure except the head is not dual sided faces. =)
